15th Annual Green & White Open

The Mount Vernon Public Schools Foundation’s 15th Annual Green & White Open will take place on Friday, August 16, 2024 at Avalon Golf Links. Come join us for a day of golf, games, fundraising and fun! Stay tuned for golf registration and sponsorship opportunities.

The tournament is the Foundation’s annual fundraising event. Proceeds from the Green & White Open provide resources that support the educational needs and opportunities of Mount Vernon School District students through grant-funded projects and experiences that fall outside the school budgets.

Through the generosity of sponsors, volunteers, and our community, the Foundation has  helped fund a variety of programs and activities, such as: Newbery Award author visit benefitting 5th-12th graders throughout the district, dramatic play kitchens for all kindergarten classes, band instruments for Harriet Rowley Elementary, a safety speaker system for Centennial Elementary, marine science aquarium project expansion for Mount Vernon High School, adaptive PE equipment for ILC students at Washington Elementary, a band field trip to Central Washington University for Mount Baker Middle School, Imagine Museum field trip for Harriet Rowley second graders, Folklórico dresses for the MVHS Mariachi Dance Program, SEL student library materials for Skagit Academy, community book mailboxes at LaVenture and Mount Baker Middle Schools, and more.
